The lamp consists of two elements with a contorted cylindrical shape having different heights, sizes, and colours. The tallest in red supports the shamash, while the eight candles are housed on the white, wider, and much shorter element. The elements are supported by two metal sheet bases. The lamp was made using the pigment dyeing process, involving the fabric being pretreated and then dyed. The fabric and shapes interweaved pattern and the strength of colours stand out, recreating, according to the artist’s intention, the power of life, and of the divine miracle.
