Enamelled terracotta and oxidised iron sheet
Laboratorio Terra e Fuoco di Roggero, Ottiglio

The work consists of an enamelled terracotta structure. The uneven, machined surface features fissures, tears, hints of floral designs, knots and fake patches. A sheet of oxidised iron, parallel to the base, enters the upper part of the cone and passes through it; this sheet supports the nine candle holders. The shamash stands separately, at the left of the bar. For the artist, the matter is governed by signs that wind their way through the lines of anthropized landscapes.
