Terracotta and wood
The lamp has a rectangular base made of black wood. The base supports a trapezoidal block of terracotta with steps at the sides. The candles are arranged on these steps, four per side. The shamash is placed on the top step and is plainly distinguishable from the others. There is a bas-relief design of a tree on the front surface nearby an animal face appears.
