The base of this lamp is made from wooden strips and block board. Embossed wallpaper is affixed to an MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) panel on the left-hand side, while an image formed from overlaid shapes in acrylic, enamel, glue, India ink and resin, occupies the centre. On the top is another base block carrying eight red candles, which symbolise fire. The ninth light, the shamash – it, too, a red candle – is placed on a block of wood and embossed paper, low to the right.
