Perspex, silver, copper and brass
This work consists of a four-sided copper base along the front of which are hinged nine small cubes. The cubes are arranged in a row and are rotatable. Nine vertical Perspex tubes are fixed to these supports. The tubes vary in height and the tallest tube in the centre symbolizes the shamash. The activation, the symbolic lighting of the candles takes place by moving the cylinders from a horizontal to a vertical position.
