Steel, stone, and enamels on PVC

The artwork consists of stainless-steel rods and tubes, manually bent to obtain the desired shapes, fixed on the stone that functions as a base. Everything is held in place by a transparent PVC band painted with enamelled colours, embedded, and cut into strips to give the idea of movement, precariousness, and fading. The work is meant to be a sort of tree, seen according to the artist’s current personal artistic research. The tree of death in the lower section, with stone, earth, dried leaves, and plastic material, and the tree of life in the upper one, with pink candles as buds announcing a new spring, and symbolizing rebirth and light.
