The white Carrara marble is processed without polishing, thus showing its organic nature, its porosity. The artwork as a whole has an organic and light design, projected upwards as if arising from the ground. The flames that compose it, are identifiable only as a whole, culminating with small lights, a materialization of the light symbolizing spiritual enlightenment. Marble is, by definition, a precious material, a storied material, evocative of purity and transparency, characteristics underlined by the work of the artist who shaped it, despite its hardness and resistance, giving it elegance and vitality.
