The artwork consists of two wooden bases, the lower one is circular, and the upper one is octagonal. On the octagon, there are eight dreidels, or tops, a typical toy of the holiday, that here become candle holders. The two bases are joined by a pivot that allows the octagon to be moved manually. The shamash is placed in the center.
