Cloth and plastic materials applied using a chemical gluing process

The semi-circular base is made of white fabric with gold-coloured inserts and purple edging. It supports the lamp, a complex candelabrum extending horizontally. The main branch stands apart from the others and is arranged centrally, at the front. The eight arms for the remaining candles branch off from the central shamash, in a semi-circular pattern. They differ in height and bear the candles. The whole structure is covered in gaudy fabric in vivid, bright colours. Each section of the lamp is covered in a different colour material and all are adorned with pins, semi-precious stones and embroidered flowers.
