Pietra da Cantoni and ceramic pottery

In this work the slab of Pietra da Cantoni represents the building: the Temple. In the nine cavities, including the one symbolising the shamash, the artist has melted an emulsion of paraffin and olive oil. In the artist’s intention, the inscription engraved at the back of the block is a word to be handed down as well as thanks to G-d.
