Wire gold-plated by hand and wax

The structure is made from a thin wire that has been gold-plated by hand. The wire reproduces itself to form a sequence of concentric circles held together at the centre using pressed wires. Nine small wax bees, arranged on various gold-plated trajectories, are the lights on the hanukkiah. The distinctive number 8 shape of the structure is also inspired by the dance bees perform to attract their companions in search of pollen.
